The keyboard has worked great so far. It has been something to get used to but I was also coming form a Logitech wave keyboard and the keys were larger in some spots so switching to keys that are all the same size takes a little time. I have however noticed that things are happening when they should be after a key press and the feel has been very good.I can say that if you currently are using a membrane keyboard and are on the fence about spending the money to switch to a mechanical this one is the one to start off with. The one "oddity" is the windows key is not where it would be on a standard keyboard. It is replaced with a function key but honestly in a lot of games that is not a bad thing since hitting it will not drop you to the desktop with the windows menu open and the function key only works with the F1 through F12 keys so tapping it while gaming won't cause odd things to happen. It will take a little to get used to if you often use the windows key to do things but once you do it will not be an issue. The one thing I wish it had was a USB hub and a second cable to plug it in with or a USB3 connection so that I could plug my mouse directly in to it. I had a keyboard once with that ability and since I do not use a desk to do things it made it MUCH more convenient. There are some keyboards out there with that functionality but they are also back lit and as they report their power usage as the max even with the back light off you can not plug a thing into the USB hub and have it work as the system will report that there is not enough power available so two USB plugs or USB 3 which supplies more power would be required. IMHO that would make this keyboard awesome. It's sturdy, attractive, easy to use, FAST, etc... It's Perfect! One detail that I didn't notice when I ordered it or when I read reviews is that the Volume keys are not only a different shape but also a different level vs the rest of the keys. It makes it easy to find them by touch & less likely to get bumped accidentally. The lighting doesn't have to be on to find them. The odd location of the Windows keys troubled several buyers in reviews but I have discovered that I don't really mind. While learning a new keyboard I think before hitting anything outside the standard keys regardless. It wasn't a big deal. No stress /worries. And I am already used to it. I've had the keyboard for 3 weeks & I don't even think about it anymore; faster than my normal speed.I chose the Cherry MX Brown switches because I use my keyboard for typing & gaming. I find the faster I can leave the key, the faster I can strike another! The Browns allow me to hit & quit fast via the soft clicking sound. When I hear the click, I immediately hit the next key & stop pressing the first key. As a typist first, before PC gaming, I have always done this to go faster... Gaming is no different in this regard. A light touch increases speed. The shorter the activation distance, the faster the next keystroke. Therefore, this keyboard is FAST! My typing & gaming have improved because of it.I recommend this keyboard to anyone who likes a dependable keyboard that they can repair & use for a long time... Comfortable & familiar, like a friend. ^_^I wanted a sturdy, well-reviewed and "cheaper" mechanical keyboard for work. I use it primarily for typing not gaming. It's built very well, very sturdy and the mechanics for the keys are amazing quality. I absolutely love this keyboard. However, I am not able to use the software at work so I can't tell you about how any extra features or the software. Only drawback is that it's very tall and I had to buy a wrist guard to comfortably type, but it's probably better for me anyway to have the guard. Would absolutely buy again and have been recommending it to everyone.Im a fast typer, I almost need a different keyboard setup because I cant go any faster without getting in the way of myself if that makes sense. I can usually type faster than people talk if I'm on my game. That being said, i got this for my trading rig. Feels great, love it.One thing I did not account for.... i hate attention, typing fast is noisy. I got the cherry brown thinking it would be super quiet but still feel good. Not at all the case but I think you always trade mechanical vs silence. I would hate this thing at my office, but for home... love it.Has a description for "2.4 GHz Radio Frequency," under "Wireless Type," which makes this somewhat misleading. Despite that, it is a great WIRED keyboard. I feel they should remove that part of the description, because I wanted a red keyboard, but I also wanted a wireless one. I'm not in DIRE need of wireless, but it would have been nice to have especially if it's what I thought I was getting.cannot ask for more for 50 bucks. It's cherry. Totally worth the money. The only downside is that you can not swap the Fn key (on the Win location) with Win when you are not gaming. It's really annoying sometimes because Win key is so often being used.Just got this keyboard last night and have to say I'm a little surprised that for having the MX "Blue" switches, supposedly with the most feedback and/or resistance how soft the keys actually are. This is comparing it to an old IBM "clicky" keyboard that must have had bigger and/or stiffer springs. Nice build quality, although I really liked the aesthetic of the Ultimus better than this one it has the "Red" switches which were entirely too soft for me. For the price, backlit keys and that sought after click are still worth it.Iv'e had this keyboard for ~1 month and its working fine. The back lighting is nice and the keys feel good without being super clicky like my blue switch keyboard that annoys everyone in voice programs with me. It has 5 settings for the lights but only comes in red. OFF, low, medium, high, and breathing (I like to keep them on low). Overall it seems to have solid construction and the ample space behind the keys makes it pretty easy to use compressed air to clean out any hair or other stuff that may fall between the keys. I'm very happy with my purchase and seems very good for its price compared to other mechanical keyboards!
