About a quarter of the way in there is a splice which made that section unusable for my project. I then unraveled it further to find that the wired side ended on one edge. That problem continued for several feet. Approximately half of my spool was bad. I gave it three stars because the good half really was nice!Love the purple ribbonGreat product.
